October is National Physical Therapy month. At Thrive Rehabilitation I offer a whole-body approach to Physical Therapy. I will look at not only the area of injury, but I will look at the whole body to see why the area has become injured. Then using a manual therapy based approach I will correct the soft tissue and joint structures surrounding the injury. Then I will teach you exercises to strengthen the weak areas and stretch the tight areas that may be leading to injury. Lastly, I will address any other underlying issues that may be leading to inflammation such as nutrition, water intake, posture, movement habits, exercise, breathing techniques and much more.
