Pilates emphasizes breathing, core and whole body strengthening, mind-body connection, and many more benefits to help your body feel strong and and function at it's most efficient level. Pilates is done both in mat format and with the use of the Pilates Reformer. Simply put Pilates is mindful movement. Mat Pilates is done on the floor and uses body weight resistance and whole body movements for strengthening, stretching and training efficient movement patterns. A Pilates reformer as seen in the photo above allows us to add further resistance, challenge your balance and stability and in some cases enhance the overall core connection we are looking to build.
We offer individual Pilates sessions and incorporate our Pilates background to rehabilitate those recovering from injury.
